13 week old DS2 is just not sleeping at night.
He wasn't great before hand with his sleep, up every 90 minutes or so, but it's just atrocious at the moment. I'd take 90 minute blocks in a heartbeat now.
He had his 12 week imms on Tuesday, slept ok and from Wednesday afternoon onwards became quite grouchy. He just doesn't seem to know what to do with himself.
DH is on holiday at the moment so for the last 2 nights has stayed up with him downstairs all night, bringing him to me for feeds, and is catching up on sleep in the day. Obviously this can't continue when he gets back to work.
DS2 is up and fidgety every 20-30 minutes. We keep cuddling him and putting him back down whereupon he either cries straightaway or settles for 20 minutes then is up. This happens in both the Moses basket downstairs and his cot upstairs in our room. Co-sleeping has stopped working and even when we let him sleep on us he's just so restless. He's also quite fussy at the breast and while still taking milk he's really not bothered by it and it's giving him no comfort.
I know there's a 12 week growth spurt and there's the jabs the poor lad has had to contend with, plus someone told me a wonder week can happen around about 3 months?
Can anyone offer any reassurance as I'm just so incredibly worried this will never end. I can't see past this although DH is wonderfully reassuring that it's just a phase. But what if it's not?
Thanks in advance.
