10 month up all night struggling to pass wind

If anyone can shed any light on this it would be hugely appreciated :)

My 10 month old is capable of sleeping from 7pm until 5.30am. She has only ever done this for a few nights at a time and otherwise wakes for a few minutes around 3-4am. UNLESS she decides it is one of the nights when she wakes every hour trying to pass painful (bottom) wind. It seems to be around the same time as she is cutting a tooth but she is definitely awake with wind and not gum pain. She passes wind and then is able to settle and sleep for about 45 mins.

I have kept a food diary and it may be that she's having too much fruit (she loves it!) or that she has problems digesting cheese. I have no idea what to do with her when she is writhing around in pain. Painkillers do nothing and I'm getting scared about being up all night with her when I go back to work.

Has anyone experienced the same or do any of you have any suggestions??? I will try anything! Thanks :)
