Toddlers: The Mumsnet Guide - advice and experiences from parents who have been in your position and lived to tell the tale!
Dd is 19 months. She sleeps pretty well at night bar teething but only sleeps for half an hour ish twice a day. She wakes anywhere between 5.30/6.30 and I take her up for a nap at half 9. Where she will be asleep by about 10 (bf to sleep still) and awake by about half 10.Afternoon nap is at half 2, again asleep by 3ish, up at half 3. Most of the time I can't put her down in her cot for this nap as she wakes straight away then won't go back down. I tried doing one nap at the weekend, she still slept for only half an hour and so was extremely grumpy for the rest of the day. Should I just persevere and hope she will extend the one nap? I'm so envious of everyone's babies that sleep for 2 hours in the middle of the day. I want that!
