I've posted on this before as I have been plagued with early waking for 19 months. I thought we had it sorted until a few weeks ago when the waking has been getting earlier and earlier again. I have tried everything and I mean everything. Now I feel helpless as there is nothing left to try. So I need someone to tell me their lo just started sleeping in all by themselves.
Dd is a 19 mo live wire and wakes between 5:15-5:30 normally talking to her teddies quite happily for about half an hour. Problem is my sleep is now totally ruined. I wake about 5 waiting and listening for her. I just don't know what to do. She had been sleeping 11 hrs a night, then it went down to 10.5 now it is sometimes less than 10. I understand some need less than others but how can this be enough? She is so active and sometimes only sleeps an hour in the day.

Hi my 3yo dsis the same I believe with him that its to do with the early mornings we had it lat summer he would wake at 5am sometimes even 4:30 for the past few months he's been waking at 6.30-7 but now is creeping back to 5:30. When asked what's woken him he says "it's morning" I too have tried everything but even black out blinds don't help. I know with my step son he was an early riser and he grew out of it sorry I can't be of any help but I don't think there's any quick fixes with kids.

Could be lighter mornings but she's been at it for about 3-4 weeks and it was still pretty dark when she was waking. She also has a black out blind.
