Background - DD1 never napped in cot, had to be in car or pushchair. Did it for 3 bloody years.

Dd2 is 14 months, still bfs to sleep. At night, feeds goes into cot and stays there for a couple of hours...blah blah blah Co sleeps part of the night. She has a car nap in the morning, still in carry seat so I can carry her in but I want her to sleep in her cot.

How do I do it? I just can't do cc or cio. So far this morn, she fell asleep as soon as she hit the cot woke up, I took her out fed again got her back in crept downstairs she woke up. I'm feeding her again right now whilst typing for help!!

Oops, baby climb down and I hit post. Or do I give up knowing she'll be tired?

Sorry it's a tough one. My DD never slept int the cot during the day. I put her in a bed at about 16 months and night weaned/stopped feeing to sleep when she was 18 months. After that she would sleep in her bed during the day.

Hope that males sense? So you could try not feeding him to sleep? I have never used cc by the way. I just used to cuddle her to sleep instead. It took her ages to get to sleep the first few times but now I can just put her in bed, leave the room, and she will go to sleep by herself.

Thanks for that Tic Taco. I will have to just grit my teeth and get on with it wrt night weaning.
