My Ds seems to be doing some catch up with long morning naps these past few days... must learn to sleep when he sleeps!

must learn to sleep when he sleeps!

I have my two eldest at home as its half term- impossible to get any sleep with them bounding around the house (looking for food etc!)

tired happy sleeps for tonight seething with jealousy

My ds just cannot stay asleep. In bed 2 hrs & 3 wake ups so far. He's under the weather so not sure if due to that or regression or an unhappy combination of both. Either way, all our bad habits we go it rid of in the last 6 wks have been reinstated. Meh.....

How did it go? Ds woke every hr from 1930 to 0300 then every 2. Hideous.

I went to bed at 8pm. Fell straight to sleep- I heard DD wake at 2.20am and DP fed her and changed her- put her straight back down and she slept until 6.10 this morning. I got up with her- fed, change- stuck her in her baby seat in front of BabyTv Shock and I lay on the sofa (I was still so tired). She went back to sleep until 8.30 am.

yesterday though she wouldnt take any milk in the afternoon- so her last bottle at 7pm I put in 7oz instead of the usual 5oz. So im not sure if that 'extra' top up made her more settled?

Im not getting my hopes up. I would imagine that I could well be awake most of the night again tonight.

FFS ds been in bed 40 mins & 2 wake ups already. He CANNOT seem to stay asleep without me beside him, preferably with my nipple in his mouth. Is co-sleeping to blame, or illness, or regression....oh bloody hell, what have I done?!

4 months today! Been poorly with d&v virus we're on day 15 now so could be the cause of our newly developed sleep issues. Gave in & fed to sleep after 40 mins howling with ds by his side in bed. Asleep

With my Ds it seems to be the first hour he's really unsettled, then on and off until his midnight feed. Thankfully then he seems to settle from 1-4/5am but is awful after that (isn't hungry) until I give in and cosleep, during which time I get little sleep as he still snuffles but he will stay there until 7am.

So very tired are we that we've arranged for DS to sleep out at my DM's next week (literally ten steps around the corner) which will be the first night he's slept away from us except when in intensive care. I'm going to be a nervous wreck but I think we really need it.

Cakebaby - my dd is 18 wks. She's never done more than 3 hours even co sleeping. Two hours and we are jumping for joy. It is so bad I don't count wake ups anymore as I lose count!!

Hello ladies. I just spent £30 on Ewan the sheep out of desperation to stop having to go shhhhhhhhhh all day & night. Yeah right, money well flushed.
...then today I drive dd in the car for an hour cause I am tired if having to put her in sling to sleep! Bring back good naps!
2 weeks into sleep regression...15 weeks old.

Report
cakebaby · 05/01/2014 17:27

Welcome Cindy we have Ewan too, he's hanging on the cot. Ds seems immune to shhh now! I've just had to drive for an hr too as ds refused to nap all day & was nearly turning himself inside out with tiredness. God knows what tonight will bring.
