My son is nearly 7 months old, he's always been a goodish night time sleeper usually going 7pm-7.30am from 8 weeks old with a 10pm dream feed.
For the last month he has woken up between 5.30am and 6.15am with a poo in his nappy. After a nappy change he usually goes back to sleep but I can't. I know most people would love to be in my position & I'm being a bit of a brat, but a 5.30am start is killing me as I often work at home in the evenings until 10pm.
I've done a search on here and tried all the usual suspects, no protein/fruit/veg at dinner, an earlier (4pm) dinner to give him a chance to poo before bed, carbs with every meal, bath and massage before bed, totally blacked out room.
Is there anything else I can try?
He does 2/3 dirty nappies a day. 1 @ 5.30-6am, 1 @ 8am and 1 after his afternoon nap @ 2.30pm ish.
He eats 3 meals a day. B:porridge & banana. L: protein, carb & yog & finger fruit & veg. D: carbs like pasta and sauce & organixs finger food.
He used to be breastfed but is now mainly bottle fed 1st stage aptimail 3 times a day.
If anyone has any suggestions that would be great!
