Is there a 6m sleep regression?

Not sure if I actually want to hear the answer to this tbh smile The 4m one almost killed me!

DD has had a cold but recovering. She's gone from 3 wake a night to no naps and waking every hour (again) We're already co-sleeping and plans to move to own room are well and truly out the window for now.

Please tell me this is a cold or that a regression isn't as bad at the 4m one

Not sure but Im in the same boat - for a good couple of months DS was only waking once a night, then things took a nose dive around 4.5 months. He is now 6 months and things haven't improved yet - he spends the majority of the night in our bed though so I get just about enough sleep.
As soon as the weather warms up (Im sure he gets cold in his own bed) and he gets over this cold, I'll try and coax him into his own bed/room. Possibly!

Yeah my DD was shocking at 4mo. She's always been a bad sleeper, up every 2 hours but we started, recently to get 1am, 4a, 7am which was great! Then she got a cold and since then its been every hour or 2.

She has napped in the past 2 days but only if shes on someone i.e me! where as she used to do 30 mins in her cot upstairs.

We had a sleep regression at about 6.5 months - waking every hour or two!

I think there's a psychological '3-hour' barrier - if I'm woken and 3 or more hours have passed since last feed, I'm quite relieved and pleased... 1 or 2 hours far harder to cope with.

According to wonder weeks, there's one at 26 weeks, which can begin at 23 weekshmm

Hi sparkle, you posted on my thread so its only fair I post on yours too smile dd2 is very slightly better the last two nights so I hope we're on the way out of this regression... Hmmm, we'll see!

Yeah babygirl, I have the wonder weeks book and app, we've just finished the 26 week one. Did have much sleep regression linked to it, oddly. Maybe this is the tail end, was hoping we'd be done till 30 odd weeks now. She's 28 weeks atm.

It's not fun but I'm glad that you guys have been through it too, fingers crossed we're near the end

Hi sparkle, my dd is 28 weeks too. Last night was rubbish, so much for the end of the regression! She's just so windy. Started using infacol again and hv recommended bio Gaia - anyone tried it?

Gosh, my dd was wriggling around and had a really unsettled sleep last night when she slept. Didn't even occur to me that it might be wind!

I wonder if that's linked to weaning?

I had a shocking night last night too. Tonight she's in her cot with me sat next to her for no reason apparently as she's out of it

Here's hoping for a good one tonight!

Can't remember if I've mentioned this before, but my dd developed eczema about the same time so I've wondered about a food intolerance, it seems more than just normal wind to me. Hv has referred her to a dietician, not really sure that's the right person to see, but it WI take at least 6 weeks for an appointment. I can't imagine I'll still be sane after 6 more weeks of 2-4 hours sleep a night. ive just started a thread on the allergies board, hopefully someone will point me in the right direction. Of course it could be absolutely nothing to do with food, just thought I'd mention that that's something I'm looking into. X
