Our 11 month DS has turned onto his side to sleep for quite a while after being put down to sleep on his back; now he's started to turn on to his tummy - do I need to be worried?

He can roll over both ways, very mobile etc, etc

If he can roll back I'm sure he will if he needs to Smilemy ds 10m does laps of the cot in his sleep and gets himself into all sorts of weird positions!

I have three children. My 1st was the hardest of all, as everything was new and I was thrown by how difficult every day life became. I was so worried that something would happen to him as he was the most precious and important thing in my life. Same as all mothers i worried alot about just about everything. He began turning and i asked my friend what to do to prevent him from doing it. She explained it was his next stage of development and it was good as he was becoming more mobile. so I did all I could to keep him safe and put my mind at rest as I was a bag of nerves. I would put a fleece body suit on him to keep him warm and one cover I tucked in the sides I didn't use a pillow or bumper. I hope that encourages you :) and puts your mind at ease
