Improving sleep at night

I have been keeping a log of my babies daily bottles, naps and wake times at night (I am so sad!!!!). I don't really have a routine for him as find this too restrictive and he is a feisty soul who wouldn't follow it anyway! From looking at the log there is a pattern that has amerged that I am trying to loosely stick too. He generally sleeps at 7:40pm and we keep him downstairs in his moses basket (or nap) so that I can go to sleep at 8pm to give me a bit of rest. My husband then feeds him at 11ish and brings him into the cot next to my bed. He usually wakes 2/2:30am and then again at 5/5:30am. He's FF. It would great if he could drop the 2am. He has slept through a couple of times until 4:40am so I know it can be done.

So he has a bedtime routine of sorts but everyone says give him a bath. He likes the bath but screams when we take him out to dry him so ends up all unrelaxed. He had a traumatic birth (forceps delivery and I was unable to hold him at first due to blood transfusion). He also had to be resucitated so is quite needy. He goes to the chiropratic cos of problems with his neck and pelvis.

Thank you

Hello - how old is he? Cos it might just be a case of persevering with what he's doing for a while more and you might find that he eventually drops that 2am feed himself, when he gets big enough??

My DS (7wo) used to have bottles at 8ish, 11ish, 3ish and 6 ish but has recently dropped the 11pm feed of his own accord without us doing anything. Obvs would have preferred him to drop the 3am one, but beggars can't be choosers and at least now I can normally get a few hours sleep if I go to bed at 9pm ish x
