Ds is 16 mo and has always co-slept with us at night and had his naps in a cot. He still breastfeeds to sleeps both for naps and at night, but lately it has become extremely difficult to transfer him to the cot for naps or at the beginning of the night.
He is teething, which I am sure doesn't help, but also, as he is getting heavier, it is becoming more and more difficult for me to transfer him to the cot "carefully" so that he doesn't wake too much in the process.
Would it be too early to get him a single bed with a guard so that I can get in with him to feed and then leave? Or maybe just a single mattress on the floor would be better?
Not sure why I am asking as right now I don't see any other solution, except for me to nap with him everytime or leave him in the double bed on his own (where he is now, but that means I have to stay in the next room so I can get to him as soon as he stirs)
Any suggestions?
