Re-introduce a night feed?

Would you re-introduce a night feed with a 6mth old baby? she was sleeping a happy 10-12 hours now she wakes at 3am EVERY morning, this is week five now

The only thing making me hesitate is that when I give her her morning bottle she rarely takes more than 3-5 oz she shes obviously not hungry?

My other option is turning her monitor down and leaving her too it, her bedroom is next door to mine so with the doors open I could hear her anyway but im a big chicken with regards to something going wrong!

My DS is going through a similar stage, he slept 7pm-5am without feeding from about 3 months, but at 6 months he's waking every 3 hours and not settling himself. I've moved him back in with us as it was such a nightmare going back and forth to him and I try to keep giving him his dummy if he's not too awake but around 3am I end up feeding him just to help him settle.

If your DD is able to settle herself if you leave her to it then I wouldn't feed her, but if she's getting upset then I would - especially if you're getting stressed listening to her.

no she doesnt get upset shes just wide awake - she shares a room with my SD who only sleeps over two nights a week so on a bad night I get in the bed in that room im just baffled why its the same every night and thats it then shes not quite asleep again for the rest of the night - I think im going to have to bite the bullet and see if I can encourage her to self settle
