She's driving me up the wall. This is, I suppose, our first proper night of sleep training. I've just been picking her up and putting her back in bed. She's lying in bed crying for now. Please tell me this will actually work?!? Dh is being fuck all use and I want to cry.

Keep going.....you have to win this one.....trust me it will be worth it in the end....just dont give her any attention in the form if chatting or talking because then its like a game for her???when my boys would jump in and out I got frustrated running in and out so I sat outside the bedroom door....pain I know but it worked in the end ......good luck

Thanks. I've closed the door so she can't get out to give me a break. Still want to cry though!

She's asleep now :) hopefully she stays that way until morning! She was up 4 times last night but usually just gets up once a night. Definitely no napping tomorrow, fingers crossed she'll be out like a light!

Thanks for your help janglitz, you helped me stay far more calm that 'd'h and his "it's not working" "I've got to get up at 6 tomorrow" blah blah blah.
