how to get dd 2.4 to go to bed

DD has never ever been easy to get to bed, she'd scream in her cot until she eventually fell asleep, now she's in a bed she's up and down for about 3 hours every night and its wearing us out, she gets up again at midnight and as we have to be up at 6
justs ends up in our bed as we can't face the battle again and feeling bloody knackered as we are so sleep deprived. Any suggestions?
