15 month old won't go to sleep on her own anymore?

Hi, just not sure what's going on. My DD of 15 months just won't go to sleep on her own since the last few weeks. Prior to this I could put her straight in her grow bag, in her cot and leave the room and she would fall asleep on her own. For some reason every time I put her in her grow bag or even the cot she cries and won't sleep. We've been up the whole night with her cos she won't sleep. I don't know why she's doing that. She doesn't seem in pain with her teeth or not unwell either. Any ideas?

Is she too hot? I've been putting my 13month old DD down in just a sleep suit - no growbag/blanket or even sheet for the last few nights and it seems to help a bit. She's still being a bit of a madam in this weather though.
Maybe someone will come along and give us a solution. Good luck.

no solution but my 15th month old has lost the ability to self settle in the past few days we have had periods of this and he seems to go back to normal, but check back with me in a week and I'll tell you then.

Hi, thanks for your advice. Today it took an hour and a half to get her to sleep and even then didn't sleep on her own, fell asleep in DHs arms.

We're trying the pick up put down method that worked previously, but even that isn't working. As soon as I put her down, she stands straight back up. I don't know what's happened all of a sudden.

god my ds has totally lost he ability to self-settle we have takn a major step backward.

i wonder whether there is a separation anxiety thing at this age?

i don't really know how to handle it either, whether i be tough about it or sit by his cot.

I just sit in DD's room using my laptop :)
Every now and then get up to lay her back down.
Its probably not teaching her good habits, but its stress free for both of us - I'm getting rather good at Spider Solitaire too :)
