Where do you put the final feed in your routine?

If you don't feed to sleep then where does it go? At the moment I do bath, boob, bed. There is no way Dd 6 m wouldn't fall asleep. I want to start putting her down awake though so need to rethink the routine.

if there is another step after feeding like sleeping bag then bed this breaks the feeding to sleep association.

Ok so just wake her up again by leaving the bag until last?

does she fall asleep after a feed? if she does then just trying putting her in her cot awake.

She falls asleep when feeding, I would have to wake her up.

Hate to say it, but if it ain't broke, don't fix it. The fact that you can put her down once she's asleep, and she stays asleep, is pretty good. If you are desperate for her to learn to fall asleep on her own (so she can resettle at night), try it at nap time. When she is really tired

She doesn't stay asleep that is the problem. She wakes up several times throughout the night. I just tried boob before bath and rocked her and then put her in her cot and rubbed her back and it worked ok so I will see how that goes. If she just fed and then stayed asleep or just woke up a couple of times I wouldn't care.

she may be waking up looking for that comfort during the night. my lo was the same, we rocked, fed had dummy to sleep but he just kept waking up. i would put her down a wake she will eventually learn to fall asleep on her own. you could sing to her, then she will know you are still with her?

Had some success with doing pick up/put down and rubbing her back in the cot so hopefully I am on to something!
