Hi there,
DD is 5.5 months old and up until we were away on hols last week, had got herself into a (really nice!) routine of up around 45 mins at 9am, up to a wonderful 2 hours around midday, and a quick 15 mins late afternoon (between 4 and 5). This was happening consistently every day for at least a couple of months and was great.
We were away last week so everything went a bit awry, and since we got back (3 days ago), the lunchtime sleep seems to only be one 45 minute sleep cycle. Then she disturbs, and won't go down again. This means she seems tired for most of the afternoon but won't settle very well for another decent sleep.
If one week away means we've lost it, then so be it, but I would be interested to hear if anyone has any ideas of how to get DD back into her big lunchtime sleep groove, as it was good to have the chance to catch up on jobs etc. and more importantly, she was always so lovely and smiley and non-grouchy afterwards.
