Hello
My 3 yr and 5 yr old both get up at 6 am. They are driving me positively berserk stomping around like a herd of elephant screeching like banshees.

Oh god yes! There is nothing quiet about him either. He seems to think we are in another county when he talks!

My 3yo wakes up between 6:30 and 7 but she's 'trained' to only come in to us when her lamp comes on at 7 using a timer switch Smile

my just four year old and my 6 year old can wake anytime between 5 and 7

they share a room and they know on punishment of torture not to disturb us till the sun comes up (on their gro clock)

We have a special clock which brings a sun up at 7 am but he has stopped taking any notice of it!

4yo DS wakes at 6am. Today he was hitting me on the head with his pants Angry. He wakes up 2yo DS too Sad.

The gro-clock never worked for him, bribery hasn't worked either. Black out blinds + curtains don't make any difference. He has a long day at nursery so he his tired but I am pinning all my hopes on school making him more tired in September. Drives me up the bloody wall.

Sometime between 6 - 7am. We've just bought one of those clocks too, but I still end up in their bedroom at 6.45am laying down the law!

Meglet are you sure you don't have my son! Exactly the same thing here. Black out curtains, bribery, gro clock - Nothing works!

4yo wakes between 6 and 7
6.40 today.
TBH i consider anything after 6am reasonable, if not desirable. I think they have weakened my resolve after years of properly early waking Grin.

serous question

Until between 6 & 7 which is plenty early enough for me.

Have you tried / looked into wake to sleep?

He used to pay attention to the sun an moon on the clock. We started well with the sun coming up at half 7. Then we moved it back to quarter past because he stopped waiting and have since moved it back to 7 am. All we get is "the sun's taking a long time" shouted at the top of his voice! He just won't wait!

4.15am this morning

Though he does have ASD and finds staying asleep difficult. I on the other hand feel like I could sleep for a week.

This is my world. dd has woken between 5 and 6 am since she was born. Her favourite time is 5.05 am. She has to play in her bedroom, get dressed, read etc. Until I get up at 7 am. Even though I am awake, I refuse to get up earlier. She's fine pottering about. I manage to dose over this time...sort of.

My 4 yo gets up between 5.30 and 6 am. In spite of blackout curtains. Groclock stopped working and so we sold it ...

everso DS's little gem was the day he came into my room at stupid o'clock and loudly whispered at me "Mummy I am not going to wake you up. I will play in my room instead".

I was Angry and trying to snuggle under my duvet.

The days they sleep until 7:30 (twice this year) are bliss. I am so much calmer and more organised. They even get pancakes for staying in bed, that worked a handful of times.

Everso, she stays up quite late though. Usually after i have sorted the other 2 out at bedtime. I usually have to wake her up to take the others to school. DD2s lazy and can sleep for England. DD1 wakes everyone up usually when she sick of sitting up by herself from 6ish
