DD has always been very good going to bed. Never had a real problem. I just to put her in her cot and she would fall sleep on her own with no crying whatsoever. For the last two months putting her to bed has become a challange. At the moment she won't fall sleep unless I stay with her in bed. Once she is sleeping I can go out of the room and she wil sleep until the following morning.

I think it also starting when ex-partner and I were having serious problems and I moved to sleep with her in her room even though she was falling sleep on her own. Recently we have moved to a new house (which she loves) without her dad and it has become a nightmare. Not sure if this has anything to do with the problem but jujst in case I explain it.

We are sharing bed at the moment and it is completely impossible for me to put her in bed and let her fall sleep on her own without plenty of screaming and crying which is very upsetting for both of us. I don't know what to do. I would love to go back to when she just to fall sleep on her own without me being in bed with her. How do I do it?

Any advice please?

Well I'd stick with doing what works because it sounds like she's unsettled. Then gradually move to sitting next to the bed and keeping your hand on her/stroke her etc. Try that for a week then gradually stand by the bed and then try leaving as she feels more secure again.
