White noise CD's - any good?

My almost 15 week old baby girl is a little dream apart from one thing! She naps in the day but not a lot, total of about 2 hours (if I'm lucky! - this is the most) over 2 or 3 naps a day, so at bedtime she is screaming because she is shattered!! I don't mind too much about the naps really because she is asleep from about 7pm and sleeps through to 7am, but as soon as she is out the bath and I'm getting her ready for bed she's screaming, coughing, red in the face it's horrible! I have to try to get her ready as quick as I can then cuddle her in and 'shhhhh' in her ear until she is calm enough for her bottle. It's all a bit stressy and a million miles away from my idea of a lovely relaxing bedtime! I've got the lights all dimmed, lullabies playing, babysleep talc............wiching for a lovely bedtime routine!! Anyway, I'm not moaning I know people have bigger problems but my question is do these white nose CD's work and should I invest in one!!?

Yes! Mine saved my life! Well at least my sanity. I got Little Sleepy Head (can't link on iPhone) and it was the only thing that worked to get DD to sleep. I now use it with DC2 and the vacuum cleaner track relaxes him completely. Can't recommend it enough.

Yes! I use a pink noise MP3 from Amazon. Cost 79p and lasts an hour.

yes! But you don't need to buy one, go to simplynoise.com and it's free! I did buy one on itunes before I realised and there is also an iphone app if you have one?
