My DD (9 weeks) struggles to get to sleep during the day without a dummy but sleeps really well on a night and doesn't seem to be bothered for one.

Anyone had experience of this where they've ended up demanding one at night or can you just limit them to daytime use?

My DD is the opposite! How do you get yours down at night without one??

I feed and then saddle her and she goes down without a fuss but its a different story during the day. Don,t know what I,m gonna do when she's too old to saddle.

My DD (9 months) only has dummies for day-time naps. She clearly could go to sleep without them altogether, as she does it every night, but it's just easier to give her one during the day. At night she has her bedtime routine, which she knows means it's time for sleep.

I'd say don't worry about it! If you find she suddenly demands a dummy at night as well there's still time to decide how to handle it, but she might never want one.
