Hi all,

Not quite sure this is the right place to post but.....how many of you still change nappies in the night for your 4 month old? Obviously I'm just talking about wet nappies, dirty ones of course need changing! If you don't change them what nappies do you use to last all night?

Thanks

I don't go anywhere near it if he's just wet! We use pampers babydry which are supposed to be good for 12 hours. Occasionally we have a leak but they're not too bad considering how much ds drinks at night!

Have not changed them since 2 months, use nature babycare with the waterproof pants from her cloth nappy set on top. One leak only!

god my son gets through 3 nappies a night sometimes. We havent found a nappy yet which doesn't leak after max 6 hours.

My DS is 3 and a half months - we also use pampers babydry. I do sometimes change a nappy when it's only wet around 3/4 am, because DS tends to come into the bed with me then and, if the nappy is really saturated, it smells of wee which is offputting! But when he sleeps all night in his cot [hopeful emoticon] I will merrily leave it all night unless dirty.

Never change during the night if at all possible. Ds sleeps 10 hrs, and we only ever had leaks when he should really have moved up a size, ie th ones he was wearing were too small. We had leaks all the time with Pampers.

We use Sainsburys own brand eco nappies. I can't recommend them highly enough. If he's not dirty, he'd probably only need 3 a day

My nearly 4-month-old is really fussy about nappies. He's in Pampers Baby Dry but if I don't change him at 4ish he just wriggles and fidgits for the rest of the night.

He also insists on changes every two hours in the day [annoyance at cost of high maintenance baby emoticon].

My 6 month old used to be just like RunAndBeMum's - but he's recently calmed down about wet nappies and when we change it in the morning it's a slosher (Costco own brand) impressively never had leaks.

We do part time EC - have done since 2 months old - it's really reduced day time nappy usage (and mercifully fewer stinky poo nappies hanging around the flat)

Never change at night except on the very rare occassions DD has a pooey nappy. DD 7 months and goes 10 hours with same nappy at night and has done since about 8 weeks. We use the sainsburys own brand ones.

Normal Pampers are fine for us - the babydry don't seem as good to us and have tended to leak. He doesn't make a habit of pooing at night but will occasionally have a 4am power poo which i always change.

I also found the Pampers BabyDry works best. We also had a problem with leaky nappies.

The sizes tend to overlap but you should use the ones where the baby's weight is at the lower end of the recommended size. e.g. DS is currently 11kg at 9months but we find the 11-25kg nappies are much, much better than the 7-18kg ones.

Hi, my ds is 4 and a half months and I have had to change his nappy around 4am every night since the day he was born else he was guaranteed a leek no matter what brand of nappy we used. He doesn't leek any other time strangely. Although last night I changed him at around 5am and by 9am he had soaked through!!

Never change 4 month old dd unless she poos - very rare.

I use Aldi Mamia nappies which are good for 12 hours.

We wasn't changing in the night at 4 months as lo was sleeping through from 3 months old. We just changed before bed, then again in the morning.
We only changed him before every feed or when they were dirty.
