4 yr old coming in at night

Every night since start of year my ds comes in to our bed.

How can we stop this cycle?

tried night lights as he says he is scared then he says he is cold then is he wanted to give mummy a hug.

We have tried to recitfy all these things but to no avail.

HELP!

Maybe try to find out if he's worried about something because it could be a more general need for reassurance. Are there any big changes in his life... starting school, for example? New sibling? If there's nothing bothering him ultimately, the words you need are 'No. Go back to your own bed'. He'll get out of the habit if you're consistent.
