my dd1 for the last two weeks since the clocks went back started crying at going to bed saying it was 'toooooo scarey' and then getting out of bed at exactly 1am and 5am, both times she would go straight back to bed so we figured she wasn't scared and still tired, so obviously because it is still dark at 7am she was unsure when the morning was.

we bought her the gro-clock.... omg, amazing. there is a story book about a lazy pig and sun and star on it and it has worked a trick. she ran upstairs this morning and was so excited that the sun was out!! Grin we were so excited too as it was a reasonable hour of the day.. and.... we didn't have any little visits in the night!!!!
just had to share the wonder

The morning DD1 came beaming into our room with her clock on 'morning' at 4am I was genuinely torn between locking her in her room, weeping or laughing.

thats hilarious!!! Grin got to love them! my dd1 is only 2.9yrs and after playing up in the supermarket put her in the pushchair and she has mastered the art of shouting 'help me' at the top of her voice to all the old dears- could kill her
