Nightime nappy changes

DS is 3 months old. I have stopped changing him regularly during the night and only do it once before I go to bed myself. I would change him if dirty but if wet I don't. Is this bad do you think? He has no rash or anything and while nappy is very soggy in the morning, the bit next to his skin is still OK.

This is because once i get him out of grobag and sleepsuit and use a wet wipe he is wide awake!

What do others do and what nappies are best for long periods of sleep? I have been using Babydry by Pampers and they seem to be holding out OK.

We use babydry nappies as well and only do one change night but this is more habit than anything.

I have on occasion left him after the 4am feed and keep being woken up by him grizzling around 5ish, knowing he's not hungry.

We have a bit of pinky skin but it's around his bum and I think its more related to his runny poos than wet nappies.

As long as he seems happy, I wouldn't worry.

I asked HV this question and she said that if its a poo you should change them asap, but if its just wee they could be left probably for up to 12 hours.

I change once in the night though. Just out of habit

Personally I only change a poo, but I guess if there was an issue with nappy rash I'd change once in the night.
