My dd only seems to want two 40 minute naps, one after breakfast and one at lunch time, I'm sure it's not enough! What a bout your lo's??? She is ready for bed at 6.00pm though and gets up (after waking twice in the ight to feed)at about 6.30am-ish... so perhaps an earlier bedtinme counts towards her daytime sleep total? Just wandering how normal this was and if I shold worry!

Sounds exactly like my DS- 9 mts old today. He naps after a BF at 9.30 (30 mins)and after lunch (45 mins)in his cot if we are in or in the buggy/ car. We managed to cut out the night feeds at 7 mts though when I gave only water at night as he was having 3 good meals plus 4-5 BFs a day. It took only a week or so of giving water and a bit of crying and reassurance to sleep through- may be worth a try - i feel like a different person now i have some solid 7 hrs worth of sleep.

My DS is doing this after having had 45 mins + 2 hours unt about a week ago. I put it down to the 9 month sleep regression.

He usually goes to bed at 6.30 but I'm putting him down at 6.00 as he's exhausted and overtired by bedtime. I get him up at 6.30.

Early waking (earlier than usual) can be caused by overtiredness, and frequent night waking is a feature of the 9 month regression.

My DS usually feeds once in the night, sometimes twice, although he usually wakes at other points as well, not for a feed. He has 6 good bfs a day and 3 huge meals.
