Yet the same media saying how great she looks are the same ones who often crticised Cheryl's fellow group member Nicola Roberts for being a red head! Doesn't make sense to me

Cheryl can do no wrong.

She will always be perfect in the eyes of the media.

Do you have a link to Cheryl Red Head?

mosschops30 Sat 15-Aug-09 11:14:51

Agree Cheryl can do no wrong grin

I heart Cheryl xxxx

As a redhead myself, I think people always find it always more acceptable if somebody dyes their hair red, rather than it being natural.

Nicola Roberts - who I think is stunning - has lots of the attributes of the natural readhead: pale skin, pale lashes, 'gingery' (UGH hate the word ginger) tone to her hair.

Cheryl Cole, on the other hand, can be a red head AND have tanned skin, dark features etc.

Hats off to Nicola for flying the flag for readheads, but she's probably in the wrong genre to be truly accepted. Much better to be an indie (ish) kid like Florence and the Machine...

am i fashionable
<runs to find blue hairdye>

Flamesparrow Sat 15-Aug-09 11:38:10

That isn't redhead red, that is purpleish red, completely different thing.

TheDMHatesMe Sat 15-Aug-09 11:38:12

It too her a week to get that colour?! She looks like she's bought a box of cheapo burgundy hair dye from Superdrug.

Nicola's hair a much nicer colour, in my biased opinion.

Flamesparrow Sat 15-Aug-09 11:39:24

Mine was that colour, tis now a horrible orangey brown.

LadyOfWaffle Sat 15-Aug-09 11:39:44

She should have gone She looks like a poor student, doesn't look right at all.

TheDMHatesMe Sat 15-Aug-09 11:39:58

blush x-posts Harley
I too have had that colour on occasion (courtesy of Superdrug) - I was just surprised that it took her a week rather than 20 mins.

Flamesparrow Sat 15-Aug-09 11:40:33

I prefer Nicola's hair. Tbh her hair has never had any effect on me, it is the glowing white skin that I notice (which I know is natural and she can't help, tis just what always draws my eye)

harleyd Sat 15-Aug-09 11:40:55

actually mines slightly more red...courtesy of schwarzkopf live! black/red

CybilLiberty Sat 15-Aug-09 11:42:16

Cheryl's red looks cheap and nasty.

Lulubee Sat 15-Aug-09 11:47:43

Thought she was pg? Is she not then? I didn't think you were supposed to dye your hair during pregnancy? Maybe I'm all confused...

Lulubee Sat 15-Aug-09 11:48:22

Does look cheaply done though, she's suit a much warmer red IMO. I love red hair, deeply jealous of all you redheads.

CybilLiberty Sat 15-Aug-09 11:49:06

Pixie Geldofs looks better, more expensive.

CybilLiberty Sat 15-Aug-09 11:49:23

Not Pixie, Peaches

Flamesparrow Sat 15-Aug-09 11:54:03

You can dye your hair during pregnancy

LynetteScavo Sat 15-Aug-09 13:28:52

Agree with LadyOfWaffle, she looks like a poor student.

I think she's ruined her hair! shock

cornsillk Sat 15-Aug-09 13:35:08

I had my hair like that when I was 15. Don't like it on Cheryl although she'd look good with a poodle perm. Nicola's hair is beautiful.

noddyholder Sat 15-Aug-09 13:36:35

Agree cheryl looks terrible

hocuspontas Sat 15-Aug-09 13:41:53

CherylCherylCheryl sad

You are beautiful. If you spend £100,000 a year keeping yourself that way why have you spent £5.99 on a DIY home kit that doesn't suit you. Who told you to go that colour? Danni?

SixtyFootDoll Sat 15-Aug-09 13:45:19

I had my hair that colour once courtesy of Henna from body shop.
Has she doused herself in Patchouli oil too?

glasjam Mon 17-Aug-09 00:17:10

She could dip herself in a vat of manure and come out looking gorgeous. Some people are just beautiful. Full stop envy grin
