I reckon Jamie Oliver's wife is on Mumsnet because...

...I was reading grazia (I know, I know, my Mum got me a subscription) and she was asked about the comment made about wanting her current pregnancy to be a boy and she said she'd seen she'd come under criticism for it on forums.

I reckon she saw that thread on here. I wonder what her posting name is.

(I think this must be my most vacuous thread ever!)

I wonder if it was her who started the 'Jamie Oliver is a twat' thread hmm

PussinJimmyChoos Wed 01-Oct-08 19:30:32

Oooh!!! Does sound as if she's seen it doesn't it! Wonder what her name would be? HelicopterParent? Inevergivemychildrensweets

Har har!!

DarrellRivers Wed 01-Oct-08 19:30:54

Ok, it's me [hands up]

Habbibu Wed 01-Oct-08 19:31:27

I am jools! (in the manner of spartacus}

Simplysally Wed 01-Oct-08 19:32:18

Perhaps she has people Google for her namegrin.

Feel a bit sorry for her, weren't there some rather rude comments about her husbands lips on that thread.

Jools - he seems like a thoroughly nice chap.

traceybath Wed 01-Oct-08 19:34:17

i had exactly the same thoughts reading grazia today

DarrellRivers Wed 01-Oct-08 19:34:27

I think she sounds reasonably normal, tendancy towards control freakery perhaps but I am similar smile

Well, I don't think JO is a twat.

I think folks who feed their kids takeaways every night, smoke and then say they have no money to pay bills and no jewellry when wearing two gold chains and 4 gold earrings are twats, though.

zippitippitoes Thu 02-Oct-08 17:34:25

surely the jopurnalists job is to tell her this stuff and then couch her replies in terms so as not to make it seem like a questiond answer session

CountessDracula Thu 02-Oct-08 17:34:27

I can find out on Sunday...

zippitippitoes Thu 02-Oct-08 17:36:59

well what are doing on sunday

LuLuMacGloo Thu 02-Oct-08 17:37:51

Yup - I reckon she does too. Read the article. Felt v guilty as I totally fired into Jamie Oliver on the Oliver James thread. Not only wrong bloke but slightly unwarranted pms fuelled attack on Jamie's parenting skills. Ho hum.

Overmydeadbody Thu 02-Oct-08 17:37:54

I agree with expat.

CountessDracula Thu 02-Oct-08 17:38:24

Don't want to say on here but I can find out I am sure

CountessDracula Thu 02-Oct-08 17:38:53

not that I will tell you bunch of hags wink

JulesJules Thu 02-Oct-08 17:40:08

What expat said. And I'm not Jools grin

ImnotMamaGbutsheLovesMe Thu 02-Oct-08 17:40:19

A reminder that even celebs have feelins and I very much doubt that she has someone to read MN for her. She isn't CZJ you know!

ImnotMamaGbutsheLovesMe Thu 02-Oct-08 17:40:53

feelings

DarrellRivers Thu 02-Oct-08 17:41:00

Oh yes do, and tell her 'congratulations' from me grin

zippitippitoes Thu 02-Oct-08 17:41:04

cd dont be ridiculous there is no one around

Flibbertyjibbet Thu 02-Oct-08 18:05:31

But if you write books about getting pregnant, having children, childrens food (what was the latest one?) etc then you will be commented about on a parenting forum.

She gives all these interviews to publicise her job then gets to give more interviews about the comments people on forums make about what she said in the interviews. Its all publicity and she probably gets paid every time she opens her mouth to speak to a journo.

If I was a 'sleb mum' I would expect to be mentioned in mumsnet if I was control freaky and sent my children to parties with their own food smile
