Can I bring my boots on as hand luggage?

Just that really. Have measured up bag - seems to fit the dimensions. Haven't weighed them yet but think they'll be less than 10kg - we're going EasyJet, and I think I could squeeze my other stuff round the boot bag. Do you think this would be ok ?

Don't they have big blades? If so, then no.

As long as the dimensions are okay; some people do get away with it - but if they notice and are following the rules; they'll want them in the hold.

You’re lucky to be flying with EasyJet & therefore able to do this. I normally end up on a Thomson flight without such a generous weight limit on hand luggage. So I pay for an extra 10 kilos each way, which costs about £18.00 per flight.

Why anchor - don't they like you bringing them on?
I may just need to dig out a bigger bag - my holdall is not quite as large as I had imagined, but I've paid for 23kg of luggage so I should be able to put them in if I can fit them.

They weigh just over 7 kilos, so I stuff other bits in the boot bag with them, and it all goes into the hold in addition to my suitcase.

If you also own skis and have paid for ski carriage then this allows you to check the skis and the boots even though they’re obviously in two separate bags.

If you only own boots then in theory you should be able to carry them on (easyJet have no weight limit on carry ons providing you can lift it yourself into the overhead locker), however I have heard that they are sometimes funny and will ask you to check boot bags. When we went with friends, the ones that only own boots and didn’t want to pay for an extra hold bag just put them into a carry on size suitcase (rather than a boot bag) and they all got them on to the plane no problem!

Should be fine to bring on as your hand baggage. I have also fitted mine along with helmet in suitcase before when I’ve only had one bag.
Have fun! Just got back from skiing and wished we could stay longer!

Thanks folks. Spent the afternoon at the shop getting my boot liners moulded to my personal foot shape.
Have squeezed them into my luggage bag and just about have enough room for everything. If I need more space I'll maybe decant some clothes into my hand luggage

How exciting! In a general luggage bag you’ll definitely be fine. Have a great holiday Grin
