Getting in a tangle re ski hire

I've been to Morzine several times and have used mobile ski hire delivery and a couple of the shops but I have always avoided the main brands, intersport etc as I once had really poor boots (I now have my own).
This time we're off to Peisey-Vallandry, I've found one that will deliver, the chalet company recommends a shop (obvs they get a cut) or I've found significantly cheaper online prices but can't quite work out how far the shop is.
I think I'm over complicating it - anyone like to tell me what to do please? We're going half term - I don't want to spend all Sunday morning in the shop!

I use ski set or snowell and then use google maps to check which is closest. Always found them to have great kit. They link independent shops and aren't one big chain.

Peisey-vallandry is quite a small area so all likely to be within walking distance.
If you have lots of little ones carrying all the kit can be a pest , this is where an in chalet delivery service comes into its own.

Can't you just email the shop and ask how far away they are from the chalet ?
Or email the chalet - sure they'll be pushing their own company but they won't begrudge giving you the information I'm sure.

Thanks all, I called the shop and google maps'd them too. It's a couple of minutes walk but they will drop them off after fitting.
What was perturbing me is that they are approx half the cost of skiset recommended by the chalet or the delivery I found. I struggled with the "if it sounds too good to be true it probably is" thing but have gone for it as I can't find a reason not to.
I used a website called best-price-ski-rental.
