Weekend in Italy with DD

I wanted to take DD for a long weekend in Italy, she is doing Italian A level so I thought it would be nice to ski and get some language practice in as well. We can't go for a week as we'l be leaving DS and DP with the dog and DP has to leave v early for work so it's logistically tricky.
Any recommendations of airports or resorts? I've been to Limone Piemont, was lovely but not easy from any airports...
Is Turin the best bet? We don't need black runs etc, happy to pootle down with lovely scenery. Thanks

Courmayeur is a quick transfer from Geneva (through the tunnel from Chamonix) and well sized for a weekend’s skiing - it’s where we go for my work ski trip every year and while it’s not great for absolute beginners, I’ve loved it as intermediate and as I’ve improved. You can also drive from an Italian airport if you prefer, I can’t remember which is closest though..

I was going to say Courmayeur too. Enough skiing for a few days, easy transfers, hotels that book nightly, great bomadinos Grin

Thanks that's very helpful, I wouldn't have thought of flying to Geneva.

Eggnog, brandy and whipped cream. I think it supposed to be half and half but that blows your fookin head off I like mine with a bit less brandy

Bombardino even.. 😂 . Best way to get you down that last black slope home.

I love the Dolomites.. Canazei is fab. But the downside is transfer from Venice is around 2.5 hours which isn't great for a weekend break.
