We're going to Ischgl - can't wait!

Just trying to decide whether to take all the base layers and extras or not? I guess I will, just in case its cold.

We skied there at half term, not very relevant but small queues and well connected (we stayed in Samnaun rather than Ischgl itself). Have fun!

I was in the French Alps last week and it was 14C one day! I did wear base layers and a jacket and gloves during the day, but mostly the coat was undone and I didn't need a scarf or anything. Obviously it gets a lot chillier once the sun goes in though.

Have fun!

Flaine - not been before but have been mainly to France for ski holidays

DC are not happy as they are going into morning ski lessons (as is DH)

Oh Flaine is nice. The resort itself is no beauty, but if you're a happy intermediate there are loads of lovely fast, sunny reds all around a huge bowl and there are lovely views of Mt Blanc from the top. Your kids will be fine (and you'll enjoy the peace - I can't wait to get mine into ski school Grin)

Yes, can't wait. I'm looking at the weather and thinking it's going to be colder than normal at this time.... but that could still be quite hot.

Sounds good! I'll be skiing with the rest of my family & collecting everyone at lunch - unlike last year where we barely saw the DC
