Four adults t- two babies of 8/9 months?

Where to go. Four adults are good skiers. We would like a chalet with childcare rather than having to walk somewhere with the kids and put them in scary foreign childcare.
What to do ?
Anyone been anywhere good and not horrendously expensive.
Other option is to go for a week and take both mothers (not that they would necessarily get on).

Would it be an option to leave the children at home with their grandmas for the week?
Havn't taken my DC so no advice about where to go - there was a thread before xmas about the merits of ski esprit, skifamille, mark warner etc, try a search?

we've been here a couple of times. ski-beat are very good - the best thing aboutthis chalet is that the creche is in the same building. I have done two holidays that involved a walk to a creche and I can't emphasise enough how brilliant it is to have the creche so close. scenario one: get up, get baby up, get togged up in outdoor gear; get baby togged up; pack a day bag for baby; get baby in back pack; walk half way to creche; realise you have forgotten afternoon bottle; go back to chalet; get bottle; set off for crech; settle baby in strange environment; tredge back to chalet. at this point you are at teh stage you would be if you didn;t have baby. ie now you are ready to start getting ready to go ski-ing. scenario 2: get up, get baby up, shuffle across hallway in your slippers with baby in in-door clothing, (babies outdoor clothing and day bag are already hanging on chalet/creche pegs where they live all week); baby does not even realise you are anywhere different - just a different room; shuffle back across hallway to get the milk; go back to chalet; have a relaxing cup of tea, be ready for the slopes before scenario 1 person has got out of the door with baby.

I should warn you - this particular creche is veyr small - and it feel a bit chaotic at drop off time - especially if any los are kicking off - you wouldn;t want to leave a baby in there long-term, but it's fine for a week - when we went the nannies were excellent. they took them out as much as possible and were all really lovely girls.

this is a list of ski-beta chalets with creche - some of them look they are similarly conveniently located

Mmm would leave ours but my dh doesn't want to (I have him all week so may not be so bothered although haven't left him for a whole week before - max day and a half ) as he doesn't see him all week. Grannies are chomping at the bit to have him. Other couple, friend works full time so would want to take her.

Take granny with you ? You'd probably save a significant amount in childcare costs .
