Complete newbie to this skiing lark!

How many tops/bottoms base layers should I be taking for a weeks skiing??

Will we need a clean/dry set each day??

been a while, but if you are prepared to put up with a slight level of cringe in the interest of less luggage, I think two sets of thermal leggings are fine, plus seven pairs of knickers; the clean ones go on after your evening shower/bath as always on holiday.

tops; three or four is plenty. You will get a bit sweaty but that's skiing. As long as you have clean clothes for the evening, it is fine.

I would indulge in a clean pair of ski socks each day. Ask around skiing friends and borrow as much kit as you can.

I take 3 base layers for the top and don't wear any under my salopettes.

I take two bottoms but wear clean knickers everyday & three tops.

I also only take 3 pairs skiing socks - don't tend to wear any in evening as usually stick to uggs.

Also looking at fleeces to go under ski jacket. Would it be better to have a jacket style fleece with full zip it jumper style with half zip???

I go for half zips so you can undo a little if it gets warm , unless it is part of a 3 in 1 jacket. Cotton tops might be more comfy if it is for spring skiing.

4 base layer tops
2 base leggings
4 ski socks

I rinse the socks once, just rewear tops and bottoms. Our ski socks are so expensive for decent ones (£25 each for smartwool ones)

Full zip top. It's spring so can be fairly warm if it gets hot you want to be able to unzip fully under jacket

I just wear t-shirt, thin fleece nothing on bottoms apart from salopettes,

Just returned and it was not that cold on slopes, have fun :)
