Why esprit chalets are so dirty!

Just got back from les gets. Thankfully it snowed the day we arrived as it was raining when we left & the slopes were turning brown.
We went with esprit. Child care was great.
Food was great (about too much of it!)
Chalet hosts were lovely.
Chalet was dirty. Horrible. Floating bits of dust/hair in all corners & edges of rooms. Crumbs over floor just left. Under the beds was just gross.
Turns out, they don't get a Hoover!!! When the hosts asked for one, they were told they were bring too fussy. They had a broom
& teeny tiny dustpan and brush.
Apparently, the company know that people complain but they don't care.
Although overall the holiday was good, it has really put me off going with them again. I have small children- luckily not crawling as I really wouldn't have wanted them on the floor.
Just wanted to warn people- if you're fussy about cleanliness- choose someone else!

Esprit should have a budget for items like this ... Mop and bucket? It should be in the contract with the owners that they should provide x equipment if its not then Esprit contractors haven't done a good job. I cannot believe either that at set up of the season when the chalet staff told this to the manager that somebody did not go to a hypermarket down the valley and buy one.
Complain ......

I can fully believe no-one bought a vacuumcleaner. Chalet staff are not exactly well remunerated!

It's pretty crappy of Esprit given the prices they now charge.
