First ski trip with children - advice on skiwear
(11 Posts)I wondered if anyone could advise on good, inexpensive skiwear for children? At the rate they are growing it will only last one holiday, so we don't want to bankrupt ourselves. Does anyone have any tips?
Help much appreciated
TKMaxx or Aldi
Lots in eBay too
Trespass has a sale on, just got some ski trousers for £20.
Dcs (and me) have lived in Mountain Warehouse stuff for the last 6 years. Have often got real bargains in the sale; my current salopettes only cost £10 and I've worn them twice a year for several years.
Decathlon. their trousers are adjustable on length. We have had several years out of each set.
M&M direct often have cheap salopettes, DCs got reasonable wear out of them post holidays for playing out when cold. The Lands End sale is often cheap and the quality is great. BIL swears by Aldi.
You can get some stuff in Sports Direct - but may not have much left by now, unless you try them online.
I've also got bits online from ebay/Amazon over the years, as well as the factory outlets of Mountain Warehouse/Trespass/Snow& Rock etc..
Buy generic colour ski trousers/salopettes so you can hand them down. H and M are good for basics. Long sleeve t shirts and fleeces can be worn at home
I but from tk maxx, eBay and sports direct.
I bought salopettes in a range of sizes for £3 each in the tk maxx yellow label sale that'll keep us going for a few years. Jackets from eBay for under £10 and thermals from sports direct 2 for £7.
Thank you!
