Hello everyone. Looking for your votes on good places to eat out in Morzine (ideally with traditional fondue/ Pierreade) and good bars. Also, any good lunch spots across the whole Portes du Soleil area would be great (Montriond, Les Lindarets, Switzerland etc.)

We didn't eat or drink a lot in Morzine but we didn't have a bad lunch on any of the slope-side restaurants when we were there last year.

Le tremplin at the foot of the pleney for vin chaud, Le coup de coeur beside the ice rink in the centre of town for champagne, outside heaters and rugs on chairs plus awesome salad, l'etale for great pizza and great traditional food, they top up your meat if you order the hot stone and almost dare you to eat it all, Dotty's cafe near the intersport for muffins or bagels if you are having a morning off and la Chaudanne, lovely stone cellar wine bar plus great restaurant, good traditional food plus more modern cuisine, the cafe gourmande is a must have, though possibly to share!

Plus worth checking out the Farmhouse, I've never eaten there but it sounds amazing.

La Grande Ourseis great - it's over Mont Cherie (far side of Les Gets) and the runs there are always quiet. The food is fantatsic and the views across to Mont Blanc are outstanding on a clear day. It's best too book if you're going.

Le Tremplin right at the bottom of Pleney is good for food and drinks.

les Marmottes in Les Lindarets do great pizzas and the dish of the day is always tasty and good value.

We've never had a bad meal at Chez Flo in Avoriaz. (Just down and on the right from the top of prodains. They do some good regional food as well as omelettes that will fill you up for a week!

In Montriond, Le Rocher does a good fondue and also has pizza/pasta alongside a more traditional French menu.
