We have just booked Champoluc for March next year, to go with our 6 & 8 yo DC.

The reviews all look quite good - anyone been?

DH and went for a weekend in Champoluc last season (without our DC, much to their annoyance). Enjoyed it - but it was bloody cold, as it is very exposed and very high up at the pistes. There is not much for beginners, you need to be confident.
We had a great dinner up the mountain one night - restaurant owner snowcatted us up the mountain from the top of the lift - was very cool (in more than one sense!)

Oh that sounds good! I don't suppose you remember the name of the restaurant?

Er, no (nothing to do with amount of wine consumed obviously...)

Are you going with Ski 2? We were out there with them, and they had a range of ideas of things to do including dinner up the mountain, and they sorted it for us.

Will ask DH if he remembers.

We are going with Crystal, as Ski2 didn't have flights out of Ireland.
