Off skiing with Crystal in France, staying at the hotel in resort where the whizz kids club is based . This means DS could go to teh Pyjama club. he is 5 will be nearly 6. Does anyone care to share their children's experiences of that or similar kids clubs. I'd like to prepare him a bit so he has some idea of what he is going into. I realise of course that the kids attending the club will vary week by week and its luck of the draw who you get on your week.

We couldn't get our 5 year old out of the Whizz club tbh. He loved it, we barely saw him all week. Best ski childcare we have ever had.

Thats good to hear, thank you. DS is very excited about it all, will be even more so when he unwraps Salopettes and jacket at christmas.

Where are you going? We were in Flaine at Christmas time last year (Hotel Totem?).

Yep- hotel totem for us too. Have heard the food is average, but location is excellent.

The location is perfect, pretty much ski in ski out and not far for the kids lessons. The food is variable. Some nights it was fantastic but others very mediocre. Breakfast and lunch are buffets and very plentiful if a bit repetitive.

The hotel is Swedish run, much to the delight of my 17 year old son who could barely speak all week due all the 'babes'.

The Crystal reps were a bit crap last year. I was taken ill during the holiday and they were no help at all. But the childcare was fabulous, lovely staff and loads and loads of activities.
