Didn't go at Xmas but am going in February - for the first time to this resort. I'm only there for a few days and with my teenage dc. We're both fairly low-grade intermediates. I've been reading that the piste gradings are unreliable, so for people who know the region, which runs should we avoid? We will get the full area pass so can go over to Alpe d'Huez. However, looking at the piste map it looks as if we would have to ski down some reds to get down to Alpe d'Huez from Vaujany. What are these reds like? Grateful for any advice as we will only have four days skiing and I'd like to make the most of it, without scaring us both!

Thanks Mumsnet for deleting so efficiently had put a link by accident to my FB....! SiFoL glad you had a great time we got out there late due to builders being schedule - but we arrived in time for the fireworks - house finally finished last Thurs - we are out there in a couple of weekends time to do the finishing touches before our first guests arrive delighted with it. Becomingan addict I have read somewhere too that the runs are a bit undergraded - but do not know of any specific one to avoid. My fav restaurants are La Remise (top of Vaujany village), La Cure (Oz village not Oz station) and Airelles on the mountain at MontFrais would need to book them I think.
