Right, the smutty name has to go.I will no longer be dragonbutter or nevergoogledragonbutter. That name was only ever meant to be lovely with reference to dragonflies and butterflies but turned into something else.Platesmasher was my name before I was DB and I like it.RL is having a fresh start for me right now, so I think I will on MN too.So take note, and don't accuse me of namechanging and not telling anyone.oh and if I'm really starting afresh I should take this opportunity to apologise to Cucci for telling her fuck off when I believed she was a journo. Sorry about that.
Good name. Enjoy the fresh start
Well I for one am relieved. Because I did google, and every time I saw your name in a thread the same image popped into my head. It wasn't good.
Like it. Have you twirled yet?
...am posting and running though. Will check in again later.
<weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee><twirl>don't i look so pretty!
Ah I will miss the day I was told not to and did, and discovered my filthy mind was really as filthy as I thought!
Couldn't you be dragonmarge? butterfat?
no- dragonbutter names were funny- especially when unwary newbies got curious!Platesmasher makes me think of Cypriot blokes in skirts dancing!
Your name mean't alot to me, even though you won't know who I am.It always makes me pmsl smile and remember the original thread whence you found out the true meaning of your moniker.
And you were educational too - I truly did not know the phrase 'dragon butter' till I saw your thread.
..but i do smash plates. It's a hobby wherethewildthingswere? don't be sad, it's still me. <ponders>
WildThing: I remember that thread too it was just so funny. She who used to be Dragonbutter: love the namechange. (I googled it just in case)
Y'know what, I NEVER did google Dragonbutter...until now - eurgh!I do rather like your new name and it should be easily adaptable for seasonal name changing
bumping for those not in the know
urgh i googled it!
Awwww I shall miss the Dragonbutter name but a change is as good as a rest as they say.
I have never googled it, though I kept meaning to.And now I have <noisily sick into large bucket>Shame to let it go when you were thinking of dragonflies and butterflies. What about, er, Butterdragon?
I have never googled. Now you have removed temptation, and I never will.<Polishes nice clean, unsullied mind, smugly>
I was on that original thread and managed to resist the temptation to google but now I have fresh temptation all over again. My imagination is already working overtime - tell me the reality can't be worse than what I am imagining. That would be really baaaad.Like the new name though.
I'm really glad you've changed. Think of it as saving all those poor innocents who couldn't resist googling when seeing your old moniker.
yes, making people google was quite good fun, but i'm thinking maybe people didn't take me quite as seriously as I would have liked.i'm feeling cleaner already.
oh i always thought it was a beautiful name even post-sickbag google.
