Discount codes

Last summer I wanted to buy grobags for a friend's baby, and went to bumpto3 to get my "exclusive" MN 10% discount. When I tried to apply it, it changed an existing, 15% discount (as available not-so-exclusively to Jo Bloggs) to the (rather less exciting) MN 10%, instead of applying an extra 10% discount. OK, fair enough and I understand why, but I was narked enough to buy elsewhere (and cheaper, too, as it happened. )

Today I'm trying to buy nearly £90 of stuff from another company which gives an MN discount of 10% - babyetc. On MN it says use code MT1. I did. Babyetc said this code is not recognised. I tried following the link from MN to BE, to be greeted with "Welcome Mumsnetter!" and told again to use the code MT1. It still doesn't work. I tried MT 1 - that doesn't go either. I've even tried M T 1, and guess what?

I'll still buy from them anyway because they seem to have excellent quality and very good prices, but can someone from MN update
this advertising partner?

Oh dear, that does sound frustrating. Sorry.

We have just tried the Babyetc link and code from MNHQ and it's working OK for us - could you bear to have another go?

And we completely understand why you were narked about the bumpto3 discount - we'll investigate that one for you.

I've finished my shopping now, so won't try for the discount again, but thanks for having a go anyway.

No problem. Please do tell us when codes aren't working - once we know, we can often get heavy find ways to get them fixed
