BecauseImWorthIt Tue 24-Feb-09 21:28:57

I keep thinking that the page hasn't loaded properly and press refresh every time!

hoppybird Wed 25-Feb-09 13:32:48

Ah, I see others are having a similar problem.

I use Firefox, and I get a blank space where the text hasn't wrapped around the advert BUT underneath the ad, the first username of a thread plus the text appear on top of each other. I am using the 'old' style of MN (without numbered pages for threads).

This error doesn't appear in Internet Explorer.

Hope that's helpul info for Tech.

TheThoughtPolice Wed 25-Feb-09 14:55:13

Tech / MNHQ are you any closer to getting this sorted ?

BexieID Wed 25-Feb-09 14:58:58

I use IE and have this problem on the desktop and laptop.

HelenMumsnet (MNHQ) Wed 25-Feb-09 15:43:00

Hi everyone. Thanks for your patience with this.

We're trying very hard to fix this but there aren't very many Techs in the Shed today <general geek exhaustion emoticon>

The poor saps brave souls who are still Shed-bound are doing their best for you, though, we promise.

TheThoughtPolice Wed 25-Feb-09 15:45:34

Get the whip out

Make them a nice up of tea and a few biccies to chivvy them on

claireybeemine Wed 25-Feb-09 20:25:49

Pleeeeeeeaaaaaaaase fix it soon! you'd think I'd be used to it by now but every single time I go into a thread I wait for it to load before remembering that I need to scroll down!

Lilyloo Wed 25-Feb-09 20:27:40

I on IE and it still doing it here too

ohdearwhatamess Thu 26-Feb-09 14:23:37

MNHQ - are you any closer to solving this. It is getting really annoying.

ScummyMummy Thu 26-Feb-09 17:25:13

Aren't the real techs back at work yet? Can't you recall them urgently from whatever fun things they're doing and demand that they fix this or else?

Hulababy Thu 26-Feb-09 20:13:45

'tis very annoying

moondog Fri 27-Feb-09 00:17:05

Very irritating indeed.

Hello all, sorry for radio silence. I'm in the office today so shall crack the whip personally.
