This Morning want a couple of Mumsnetters to appear with Carrie and Justine next week... anyone fancy it?

ITV's This Morning programme have invited me and Justine on to talk about the Toddlers book and want to also invite a couple of Mumsnetters to talk about how they got into Mumsnet and what Mumsnet means to them etc.

The date will probably be 4th or 5th Feb, they will need us between 9.30 and 12 and are prepared to pay travel expenses.

Anyone out there interested in snuggling up on the sofa? If you are, please put a bit of blurb about yourself here - how many children you have/how old, how you got into Mumsnet and what it means to you etc - so This Morning can decide who they might fancy inviting. If you do volunteer we may have to pass your email details on to This Morning, in case they want to chat to you, so shout now if you'd rather we didn't do that.

Thanks,

MNHQ

Please could you insist on the 4th as I have a smear on the 5th and no fancy recording equipment so I am bound to miss it if you go on the 5th. I don't watch This Morning normally, but I will certainly want to see what you and whatever Mners volunteer look like. Thanks.

LOL, one of the nurses' rooms I went into recently with ds2 (asthma check) was covered with pics of George Clooney. He doesn't do it for me personally, but can you imagine if men had some personal examination to undergo regularly, do you think they would put pics of fanciable women around the walls? I don't think so, judging by the normal male reaction to attractive women. (Wonders: does the pictorial presence of George Clooney mean they can save on the KYjelly?)

Sorry, back to the point of this thread....

Come on come on, who is going to volunteer? Personally I would like to see Morningpaper as one of the Mners.

I would imagine that it would be an interesting conversation backstage with Ruth and MNHQ regarding GF

'They don't let people INTO Somerset. They are all too happy to let people out. Somerset is the opposite of prison, it is like swanky West Country theme park land. You have to wear an armband to prove you are a legitimate visitor'

I'll do it.

I am 55, drive trucks for a living, enjoy the threads where everyone talks about their blow job techniques and extreme sexual encounters.
