Site stuff

I know MNHQ are probably sick of people moaning about ads but that NSPCC one showing someone punching a soft toy is really horrible.

I'm not a wuss but that NSPCC ad to the right of active conversations is really nasty. Probably because it's animated so you actually see punching.

These shock tactics are unpleasant and unnecessary IMO.

I really don't like it either and I generally approve of tough ads by charities to get a message across.

I would like to request that it is removed. This isn't a newspaper or tv ad, it's playing there the whole time and I object to having to see it.

Also, is that an ad for an 18 horror that is flickering andmaking an odd noise at the botton of my screen?

I also object to that.

Yep, I already complained on another thread, but it seems to be on every single page now and it's just horrible

my dd1 was looking over and was asking why the man was hitting the teddy bear - i didn't want to explain why, would rather the advert wasn't there

Hi there - we've already talked to the NSPCC about this ad (you can see their response on the other thread) but, bearing in mind the strength of feeling here, I'll pass your comments on in the morning.

wow, thought my OP had gone the way of unanswered threads. Have just posted on the other one, thinking 'finally, some other people that don't like it' only to spot this one.

I never notice the ads on here until someone says something about them but then my Pc never seems to have the same adverts as the ones mentioned. I have in the night garden advert!
