Mumsnet offline for upgrade between 8:30 and 9:00 on Friday morning

Remember a couple of weeks ago when we took the server offline for about 20 minutes on Friday morning? Well, the new hardware we fitted didn't work, so we're going to have another go at it tomorrow, Friday 30th October. It will start between 8:30 and 9am and take about 15 minutes.

Apologies for any inconvenience.

And don't blame BigTech - we stupidly gave him a day off, so someone else (less big, but no less clever) will be doing it.

My children are elsewhere.
I will be asleep.
You may continue with your downtime plans.

Umm -tomorrow is actually the 31st November...

Bleedin' 'eck. I got the date wrong last time as well.

I have to learn that when I look at today's date, if I want tomorrow's date, I have to ADD ONE.

You'll be relieved to know it's not me doing the upgrade.

That correction would have been a lot more effective if I had typed October instead of November.......

It's the 31st of October
