hey Justine, do you have some really juicy dirt on The Evening Standard or have them all held in a hypnotic trance?

Oh no it's not the same one about which one of you cruelly pointed out that I looked like that woman of Dragon's Den (which I don't) is it?
I think it's just because they've got me in their library and they're too tight to get any new pics of anyone else...

bundle Fri 05-Sep-08 18:39:55

obv copyright-free
wink

JustineMumsnet (MNHQ) Fri 05-Sep-08 18:44:58

Oh I've seen it on the website - it's not the dragon's den one it's one with the bad hair and breastfeeding puppy fat [sigh].

harpsichordcarrier Fri 05-Sep-08 18:50:49

Well I had to big us up on the staff front a bit so I included all our newsletter contributors - the fact that most of the team work about 22 minutes a week is neither here nor there I say...

ShinyPinkShoes Fri 05-Sep-08 19:06:22

22 minutes grin

Ta for email btw- sorry mad week hence no reply blush

Nice normal-family looking photo IMO!

BecauseImWorthIt Fri 05-Sep-08 19:08:52

I'd like to work 22 minutes a week - gizza job!

JustineMumsnet (MNHQ) Fri 05-Sep-08 19:11:43

Thank you ShinyPinkShoes, normal is what I'm always striving for...

BecauseI'mWorthit - sure - so long as you don't want paying...

SoupDragon Fri 05-Sep-08 19:13:59

Some work far less than 22 minutes a week...

ChippyMinton Fri 05-Sep-08 19:14:20

Imagine having a job where you get paid to mumsnet envy

BecauseImWorthIt Fri 05-Sep-08 19:14:37

Oh.

harpsichordcarrier Fri 05-Sep-08 19:14:48

oh that must be a short article:

does the glass ceiling still exist?
answer - yes
no wonder they needed lots of photos to pad it out

bundle Fri 05-Sep-08 19:16:25

mary portas said it doesn't

beansprout Fri 05-Sep-08 19:17:34

Oh well, that's that then.

SoupDragon Fri 05-Sep-08 19:28:49

Yes, but Mary Portas works in shopping.

ahundredtimes Fri 05-Sep-08 19:31:47

I love Mary Portas. I want to be Mary Portas.

Short article:

Is there a glass ceiling?
Depends on the profession.

It's a good photo. And they chose you over Mary, so that's something to be proud of. (A friend of mine met you recently Justine, she said you were v. nice. Thought I'd tell you that. Then friend said, 'have you heard of Mumsnet?' and I panicked and said 'No'. Which is was wrong and bad of me, and I'm working it through).

Who was in the photo of those red sofas, and the double doors at the back, leading to a room with a piano. And bookcases and a coffee table with artistic books on? I remember that photo.

JustineMumsnet (MNHQ) Fri 05-Sep-08 19:36:21

Ok I'm paranoid now - where did your friend meet me - was I sober?

(red sofas hmm)

ahundredtimes Fri 05-Sep-08 19:47:24

Can't remember, she didn't say. She's nice, am sure you liked her too. smile

Didn't mean to make you paranoid. Sorry. I was paranoid though and said I did not know, and never had been a member of MN, and she looked at me strangely.

JustineMumsnet (MNHQ) Fri 05-Sep-08 19:49:51

Perhaps she knows your dirty little secret grin.

ahundredtimes Fri 05-Sep-08 19:54:42

shock

Like I said, I'm working it through.
