I cannot change my name in the registration bit.

Now I'm not a huge name-changer but for reasons that I emailed you about, MNHQ, I needed to change. Since replying to the email from you asking if things were sorted yet, I haven't heard and still the thing keeps resetting with my original name!

Are you trying to tell me something?

castille Fri 11-Jul-08 20:53:05

Oh, I was going to suggest antibiotics

GordontheGopher Fri 11-Jul-08 20:53:15

I thought you were talking about a urinary tract infection there for a minute...

Rhubarb Fri 11-Jul-08 20:53:44

Actually I suppose I could try that!

Sorry, I should have put Mumsnet HQ in the title!

LOL! At least it got you all to look!

Oh no! Now MNHQ won't bother looking at my thread and I'll never ever be able to change! <sob>

Rhubarb Fri 11-Jul-08 20:55:36

I know, I'll report myself!

Rhubarb Fri 11-Jul-08 20:56:57

Oooooh, I'm dying to tell MN all about this! It's seriously good goss but I seriously need to change my name! Trying to keep quiet is just killing me!

Rhubarb Fri 11-Jul-08 20:58:30

Oh but they might just delete the thread!

Rhubarb Fri 11-Jul-08 21:00:25

Actually the thread title should read "Oi Mumsnet" "Oh" sounds pathetic!

Rhubarb Fri 11-Jul-08 21:01:23

Do you know I picked this bogey the other day and it looked just like George Clooney!

So I ate him.

Giraffescantdancethetango Fri 11-Jul-08 21:03:05

if your eating boggies no wonder you have a uti

Rhubarb Fri 11-Jul-08 21:03:28

Right well I'm off to watch a DVD and eat crisps and drink wine and my secret will just have to stay with me then!

Tough pooey pants!

I would have liked to have shared it but i can't and it was really really really good an' all!

Rhubarb Fri 11-Jul-08 21:04:01

I don't eat boggies, only bogies and George Clooney.

Rhubarb Fri 11-Jul-08 21:05:09

Boy are you missing out on some hot goss!

Oh well. I did my best! Now where did I put that bellybutton fluff that looked like Dr Who?

Rhubarb Sat 12-Jul-08 14:21:40

<gets the feeling she is being ignored by MNHQ>

RubberDuck Sat 12-Jul-08 14:23:59

I've been trying to attract Tech's attention to no avail either. Is Tech on holiday?

Rhubarb Sat 12-Jul-08 14:30:40

Dunno, but I did report myself on this thread hoping they'd reply, or send me an email, but nothing yet.

Are they all on their hols then?

Hecate Sat 12-Jul-08 14:34:18

get a hotmail account and register another name. Won't be a namechange, it'll be a whole other identity....

Hecate Sat 12-Jul-08 14:36:22

Of course, now we'll be looking for a shocking thread by a newbie and we'll know it's you. grin

spicemonster Sat 12-Jul-08 14:38:27

Was it about TenaLady? I think that was a Freudian slip in the title.

CAT me your problem and I'll post your OP for you wink

StealthPolarBear Sat 12-Jul-08 14:44:17

just post it on behalf of a 'friend'
come on we're all burning with curiosity

Rhubarb Sat 12-Jul-08 14:49:41

Tenalady? Nope.
I do have another hotmail account that is registered with Mumsnet but it refuses to acknowledge that one.

I really can't post it on behalf of a friend. I'll explain why when I manage to change my bleedin' name!

Thanks spicemonster! But no. I'd have to get you to reply to all the replies!

StealthPolarBear Sat 12-Jul-08 15:01:34

wasnt really serious - after all we'd be a bit suspicious!
is odd that you personally are having these problems, wonder if there's a general problem with name changing
