why do my reviews and tips never get shown?

As part of the last few competitions I have written several book reviews and tips but none have ever appeared? Theres probably a good reason - like they are crap but surely its misleading to ask for them and never show them...
Can someone enlighten me please?

Your review will appear as soon as a Mumsnet editor has had a chance to look at it and add some basic information about the product you've reviewed. (I'm assuming you've not said that you'd prefer to be anonymous).

On the tips front, we only have one a day so we'll come to yours soon no doubt.
