Strange two word bolding

Viewing Mumsnet on iPhone and in most threads I’m reading I keep spotting pairs of words that are randomly in bold usually with a fullstop separating them along the lines of haha.this ( I think that was on the last page of the food budget thread). They appear anywhere within the text and there’s always a fullstop involved. I thought I’d bring it to your attention in case it was a strange bug and that there might be someone sending secret messages 😄 Anyone else noticed this?

Hello thegall! That's a bit odd. It sounds like a mistake but if it's happening a lot perhaps it is a weird glitch. We're not sure anyone would want to send us secret messages but you never know! Strange times, we live in!

Have you got any screenshots or links to places you've seen it? We can get Tech to check them out if so.

If you go to the thread
‘Ffs partner has just pissed all over the floor of our bedroom’ and look at the message today at 11.23 by QueenofmyWorld you’ll see 3 examples of what I’m on about in one short reply eg. sofa.Got (sorry I’m struggling to attach a screen grab with my phone) Of course it might just be me in which case you won’t have a clue what I’m going on about 😄

I think it is where posters use a full stop and then no space! Like.this !

Yes I’ve noticed this too. It looks like a link but isn’t. I actually thought it was my eyes going funny Blush

Hmmm

If it continues to happen and doesn't look like an accident on the poster's behalf, can you mail over screenshots to [email protected]?
